The City of Goodland Fire Department and The Sherman County Rural Fire Department are accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters. Personnel will be compensated for their time and service. The City of Goodland Fire Department has six positions open and the Sherman County Rural Fire Department has six positions open. Anyone interested in volunteering as a firefighter, please apply in person with Fire Chief Brian James at the City/County Emergency Services Building located at 1006 Center Ave. Goodland, KS.
